Long-Distance Therapy There are several ways to do long-distance therapy. If this interests you, call me at 210.561.9200, and we can craft a plan that best meets your needs. Option 1 - Drive In or Fly In You can drive in or fly in for intense work over several hours or days. For example, if you live three hours away, you could drive in once a month for one full day of face-to-face therapy. Or, if you have to fly in, you could do four long weekends a year. This option can be tailored specifically for your needs. Option 2 - Internet Video-Conferencing To do therapy with internet video-conferencing, you need a webcam and a computer loaded with Skype (free video-conferencing software available at www.skype.com). Sessions can be scheduled as usual (e.g. weekly or biweekly). It is ideal for me to meet my Skype clients in person, face-to-face, at the start of the therapy. Option 3 - Combination of Option 1 and 2 Option 3, the best of these three options, involves occassional face-to-face sessions, along with regularly-scheduled Skype sessions.
